Haiti: God's Littlest Angels
Trip Dates: June 2012 & Novemeber 2012

GLA currently cares for about 100 children, ranging in age from newborn to approximately 10 years old. These children have been brought to GLA because they cannot be cared for in their current situations. GLA employs Haitian nannies who are responsible for the basic care of the children. However, with so many children, the nannies are unable to give the children the one-on-one attention they so badly crave and deserve. This is where volunteers can help. In June, 2012 we will be launching our first mission trip to Haiti. This could be a life-changing week for you as we meet, serve, and love the beautiful people in Haiti. We will be serving the children of God's Littlest Angels orphanage (GLA), located in the Kenscoff mountain range above Petion-Ville. While dates are being finalized, we look forward to meeting with all those interested at an information meeting to be scheduled inthe coming months.
Honduras: All God's Children

Within the country of Honduras, thousands of children become orphaned or abandoned each year. Many children are surrendered to orphanages by parents or guardians who are simply unable to feed them; others end up on the streets, living an existence that spirals downward into daily acts of desperation in an attempt to survive. Founded in 1988 by Carmen Bateta, All God’s Children has grown out of the passion to serve these children and the young people of Honduras. Faith Church has been a ministry partner with All God’s Children for many years sending numerous trips and even sponsoring some of the children there. The mission team is excited to be sending a team down to the Hogar this winter through All God’s Children. If you have a willing servant’s heart we would love to see you be a part of this trip. Participants will serve by organizing games and activities with the younger children at the orphanage to promote relationships building or working alongside older boys in construction projects.

We encourage those interested in joining us to gain support for prayer and finances by writing support letters to friends and family. Faith Church does offer some scholarships to qualifying candidates, the link to the application is below.
