World Vision Child Sponsorship
Ongoing Partnership Available
Millions of children around the world need help to break the never-ending cycle of poverty. Hunger weakens them. Unsave drinking water makes them sick. Missing out on an education keeps them from reaching their potential.
As a sponsor, you will provide a child with access to life-changing basics like nutritious food, clean water, healthcare, and education. The benefits you help provide extend to each childs family, his or her community, and other children in need. That's because World Vision plans and works alongside local community members to help build healthy communities for children in places of poverty. World Vision partners with sponsored children's communities over the long term to addrss cricitcal needs and help communities become self-sustaining.

All God's Children, Dormitory Renovation Proejct
Kick Off: July
Within the country of Honduras, thousands of children become orphaned or abandoned each year. Many children are surrendered to orpanages by parents or guardians who are simply unable to feed them; others end up on the streets. Faith Church has been a part of the lives of the children at Hogar de Nazareth through partnership with All God's Children for more than ten years. We are excited to be partnering with them further this summer. Through supporting local welders who grew up in the orphanage, we will refurbish the widnows, doors, and add a fresh coat of paint to each of the dorm rooms.
More information for partnership will become available in July.
World Vision Caregiver Kits
Kick Off: September
Assembly Day: TBD
Basic supplies can improve and prolong the lives of those living with AIDS while protecting caregivers and preventing the spread of infection. Caregiver Kits bring joy and practical help to caregivers and have an immeasurable impact on many people within the communities they serve. A handwritten note is included in each kit to encourage the caregiver who receives the supplies. World Vision staff distribute the kits and provide training and support as needed.
Churches and small groups raise funds for and assemble Caregiver Kits, which are shipped to World Vision distribution centers and then to AIDS-affected communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Angels of Hope
Kick Off: November
Sort Night: November
Angels of Hope is a caring ministry for individuals who are imprisoned at local Chicago jails and unable to provide Christmas gifts for their children and families. It is a way in which our church can partner with Chicagoland Prison Outreach ministry and tend to the needs of those in an unfortunate position during this Christmas season.
