Children's Hunger Fund (CHF)
Kick Off: October 13/14, 2012
CHF supports needy families right at our own back door. By taking, filling, and returning a food box, you are providing basic needs for the community here and around the world. CHF works with families directly, building relationships while delivering food boxes, therefore meeting both physical and spiritual needs of the family.
Note: If you did not get a box to fill, please bring the items on the supply list in a grocery bag.
World Vision Caregiver Kits

Assembly Day: Nov 4, 2012
Basic supplies can improve and prolong the lives of those living with AIDS while protecting caregivers and preventing the spread of infection. Caregiver Kits bring joy and practical help to caregivers and have an immeasurable impact on many people within the communities they serve. A handwritten note is included in each kit to encourage the caregiver who receives the supplies. World Vision staff distribute the kits and provide training and support as needed.
Churches and small groups raise funds for and assemble Caregiver Kits, which are shipped to World Vision distribution centers and then to AIDS-affected communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Prayerfully consider a monetary gift for World Vision Caregiver Kits (cost $29 each). Checks are payable to Faith Church and are due by Sep 30.
Angels of Hope

Angels of Hope is a caring ministry for individuals who are imprisoned at local Chicago jails and unable to provide Christmas gifts for their children and families. It is a way in which our church can partner with Chicagoland Prison Outreach ministry and tend to the needs of those in an unfortunate position during this Christmas season.
You can support this organization during the Christmas season by selecting an angel (or a few!) from one of our Angels of Hope trees, signing it out, and committing to purchase the gift(s) listed on the tag. Remember to return gifts on time so they can be delivered to the families without delay.
All God's Children, Dormitory Renovation Proejct
Kick Off: July 14/15, 2012
Within the country of Honduras, thousands of children become orphaned or abandoned each year. Many children are surrendered to orpanages by parents or guardians who are simply unable to feed them; others end up on the streets. Faith Church has been a part of the lives of the children at Hogar de Nazareth through partnership with All God's Children for more than ten years. We are excited to be partnering with them further this summer. Through supporting local welders who grew up in the orphanage, we will refurbish the windows, doors, and add a fresh coat of paint to each of the dorm rooms.
