Community Classes for the Arts

All classes will take place at the Hammond Arts Center

Instructor: Jessica Smit
Description: This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of sketching, painting and charcoaling while exploring their own creativity.
Ages: 8-12
When: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Dates: July 17th – August 14th (5 weeks)
Cost: $15
Class Size: 7-15 students

Instructor: Janet Moran
Description: This class will teach students the wonders of photography. We will learn about composition, seeing the light, color, form and the emotion of a picture. Camera not required to participate.
Ages: 7-11
When: Monday thru Friday 1:00 – 2:30pm
Dates: July 15th – 19th
Cost: $20
Class Size: 7-15 Students

Instructor: Kelly Evers
Description: This class is for 2-5 year olds and their parent /guardian. Together they will be learning how to draw, paint, mold with clay on their level. It will be a fun packed time for little ones to explore their creative abilities. *Parent/guardian must be present for the full duration of the class
Ages: 2-5 with parent/guardian
When: Monday thru Friday 9-10am
Dates: June 24th – 28th
Cost: $20.00
Class Size: 10 students and 10 parents /guardians

We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment
