Last year several pastors within the RCA met together to pray for our denomination and consider what would be done to see it return to its historic, biblical, creedal and confessional roots. What came out of it was a desire to get like-minded pastors/elders from the RCA together for a short preaching conference. Those initial thoughts have birthed the LINK Conference!
This year the topic is preaching and Heidelberg Cathechism for a present church. There will be 3 general session messages by Dr. Todd Billings, Rev. Kevin DeYoung, and yours truely, Bob Bouwer. The 3 general sessions will be on guilt, grace and gratitude. There will also be 3 devotionals from Rev. Mike Pitsenberger, Rev. Ron Citlau and Rev. Kevin Korver.
Our goal is to glorify God by celebrating this historical catechism with like-minded believers who desire to see a future that is rooted, reformed, evangelical and multiplying.
