One of Faith Church’s 2012 goals was to create a Leadership Track for future campus pastors/pastors. So a team led by Pastor Ron Citlau took off and did a lot of research, interviews and consulting and began in February on a 9 month maiden voyage. We have 7 residencies and it has been such a wonderful start. Their first term of 9 weeks was all about Spiritual Formation. The current term is on leadership with a teaser on preaching. The next term is all preaching and the final term is on the nuts and bolts of starting a campus or church. Each resident is required to go through a series of testing and surveys which will determine what online classes they will have to take. They also have been assigned a mentor that they meet with weekly. We are thrilled with how God has helped us launch the Residency Program. We are currently developing a Worship Leader and Children’s Ministry Director track which will be 5 months. We hope to launch these residencies in January of 2013.
