Today’s Chapter: Acts 6

“All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.” Acts 6:15

Stephen was falsely accused of speaking against Moses and against God. When Moses would spend time with God, his face would glow. Interestingly, now Stephen’s face was glowing as if it were making a statement to the Sanhedrin. Stephen was not against Moses nor was he against God. He was like Moses because he was a spokesman for God. The Sanhedrin was a council of well-educated religious men who would have made the connect with a glowing face with Moses. The fact that they looked “intently” at Stephen’s glowing face makes one wonder what they were thinking.
