Board (Consistory)

Our government structure is designed to empower people to do ministry in their gifted areas in concert with our overall mission and vision. The Board is required to make the larger decisions of the church such as budget approval, the hiring and dismissal of full-time ordained staff, and approval of large expenditures.

Leadership/Vision Team (LVT)

The primary roles of the Leadership/Vision Team are leadership and strategic planning for the vision of Faith Church.

Nomination Team

The Nomination Team consists of six members, three of whom are elected by the congregation, and three who are appointed by the Consistory. It is the responsibility of the Nomination Team to administer the nomination process, review the nominations for the various leadership positions, and conduct interviews in order to present a single slate for approval by the Consistory. The Congregation is then asked to affirm the single slate at the annual congregational meeting in June at a Congregational Meeting.

Community Care Elder Team

Responsibilities include strategic planning for the spiritual health and care of the congregation, encourage shepherding and caring ministries throughout the congregation, coordinate visits and counseling when needed, administration of discipline, reconciliation and restoration when necessary.

Stewardship Team Deacons

Responsibilities include oversight of all financial matters of the church including the annual budget and any stewardship campaigns that are conducted, strategic planning for the financial needs of the church, stewardship training and awareness, assisting members in need through financial aid and money management. Reports to Leadership/Vision Team regularly and to the Board and congregation as needed.
